- The Rural Nevada Democratic Caucus was organized
in recognition of the unique issues affecting rural
Nevada as opposed to Las Vegas politics. By joining
together, rural Democrats find strength in numbers
and give our rural counties a powerful voice in
state and national policy making. |

Democrat - In 2008, a Nevada
caucus will be scheduled after the Iowa caucus -
and before the New Hampshire primary. New Hampshire
will retain its first-primary tradition (not that
they see it that way) while the addition of the
Nevada caucus will adjust the demographic mix, issue
mix, and political tone & style of the presidential
nominating process.
